While it’s commerical break from sytycd, I start thinking about what I’m going to major in at FIDM. As of right now, I am planning to do fashion design, and then apply for the Advanced Degree in either Costume and Theater Design or TV and Film Costume Desgin. It’s going to be a hard decision because I would love to do both, but I guess I’ll just have to see how things play out!  Any suggestions are definately welcome! :]

I would like to share a couple of my favorite fashion websites.

http://www.gossipgirlfashion.net/ As a HUGE fan of Gossip Girl, this site is great! It lists all the episodes and provides the details of what the characters wore in each. They list who designed the clothes, how much they are, and even a cheaper look-a-like version!

http://www.whowhatwear.com/website/home.php This site was created by Katherine Power(Former West Coast editor of Elle and ElleGirl) and Hillary Kerr(freelance writer who has had numerous publishing in all the top fashion magazines). On the site, you can ask them for advice, find out what celebrities are wearing, etc! Seriously, check it out!

http://www.rachelzoe.com/ Probably one of my only idols in the fashion world right now is this lady. She is AMAZING. Iwatched her show, The Rachel Zoe Project religiously, and I follow her on twitter. My dream would be to work with her one day. BTW, keep your ears open about her new clothing line!

http://lookbook.nu/ Finally, this website is great to get tons of new fashion ideas from. It is an invite only website, but you can look at all the other members lookbooks hassle free. People from around the world post pictures of their outfits, and sometimes even label what designer they are wearing. If anybody has an account, please invite me to join!
