I swear I havent forgotten about my blog! I have just been so busy, and okay I’ll admit it, LAZY, to post new stuff on here, but that does not mean I have run out of fashion ideas and advice!

I’ll start by saying ‘Happy New Year’! With the new year means new trends and a soon-to-be new season; spring.

January brought edgy, mixed with classic, mixed with vintage inspired looks. Black, greys, and navy blues are still dominant  colors in the spring wardrobe.

Abstract prints are back! They are making a big statement in a refined way via dresses.

Leggings and tights are still great accessory items throughout spring. For a new twist, try a pair in velvet or sequins. Taupe is appearing on a numerous amount of celebs fingernails. At first I wasn’t too big on the idea, but I decided to give it a try.

I tried Rimmel London’s Mineral 10 day wear in Powerhouse.

Want to know what’s the hottest color for the upcoming months? WHITE. As Rachel Zoe says, “It’s the new black.” White pants( a trend I want to give a try), white dresses to liven up your drab winter clothes, etc. I recently went to Pac Sun and found a great pair of white skinnys.

They are actually having a sale right now on all of their jeans. Buy one get one 50% off. I LOVE the jeans at pacsun, mostly because they actually fit me! I go there right away when I need a pair or two. :]

If color jeans are more your thing, head over to JC Penny. City Streets have jeans in teal, blue, purple, yellow, pink, acid wash red, tie dye, and MORE! They range from only $12.99-$14.99. WHAT. A. STEAL. Get your wild side fix at jcpenny.com.

Another great basic item you can add to your color craze are these tees by Nollie sold at Pac Sun.

They come in a wide array of colors, prints, and designs. They are just $14.50 each when you buy two or more. I swear I almost bought one in every color! They are great workout or just everyday basic tees.

Now, time to get GLAMOROUS! With all the recent awards ceremonies taking place, its time to discuss red carpet fashion. Here are some of my favorites so far…

I still havent officially applied to FIDM yet, but I am still 100% planning to go next January. I am actually going to take a trip up there for spring break to check out the city, and of course the school. In the meantime, I will be doing a few scholarships and working on my entrance projects. I decided to apply for both fashion design and visual communications because I would love to do either and you take most of the same classes anyways. After I complete some of the stuff, I’ll probably post a few on here so you guys can give me your opinions on it. :]
